"Neural mechanisms of rhythmic motor control in Drosophila" by Prof. John Tuthill (Washington University)
On behalf of the Circuits Club Group, Prof. John Tuthill will give a talk titled "Neural mechanisms of rhythmic motor control in Drosophila" as part of the 2026 Student/Postdoc-Run Speaker Series (SPRSS).
John Tuthill and his lab investigate circuits and peripheral mechanisms that enable proprioception and motor control in flies using an extensive combination of connectomics, calcium imaging, electrophysiology and molecular techniques.
