Our speaker will be Dr Ana I. Faustino, Acting Head and Research Associate of the IETI project (hosted by the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin). Ana holds a degree in Biology and a Masters in Ecology from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, a PhD in Behavioural Biology from the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência & Champalimaud Research & ISPA, Lisbon, Portugal, and has conducted postdoctoral research in neuroscience at the Charité and Humboldt—Universität zu Berlin. For more than 8 years, she has been working at the intersection of science and society, mainly using capacity building, co-creation, multi-stakeholder, action research and impact methods/processes to promote change.
Ana's current and previous roles include work with the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the EC-H2020 Open Science Hub Network, the Open Science Hub Portugal and the Falling Walls Foundation.
Currently, Ana is the Acting Head and Research Associate of the IETI project (hosted by the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin), where she is responsible for project and team management, research, practice and communication tasks, and leads the IETI work package on culture change and co-creation.
